Moved Mountains

I have been really lazy this year, like super lazy
all I've really done is this peice for a
t-shirt design. The quote is from my favourite
Bob Dylan song Changing of the Guard.

My Body is a Cage

I got the idea for this sculpture from the song
My Body is a Cage by Arcade Fire.
This sculpture took a whole semesters work and a
lot of effort was put into it so I guess that's why it's been sold.

Collage Drawings

Collage drawings are done on rag paper with clippings of 1950's news print
and 1960's magazines. The mediums used were Ink, Gesso, Conte and Collage.
The figures are losely based from models out of fashion and popculture magazines.

Fragile Ideas

The idea for this popped into my
head while watching TV, it was an
interview with the man who invented
the Ipod. He spoke about how ideas
can be so fragile and this is what popped
in my head.

In'Difrant Mariah

In'difrant is the pronunciation of indifferent in french.
I chose that title because she has a European look to her.
I gave her the name Mariah from a song in the movie Paint Your Wagon,
there's a song called 'They call the wind Mariah.'
"Away out here they have a name for wind and rain and fire.
The rain is Tess, the fire Joe and they call the wind Mariah."

Chocolate, Blood and Oil

I always have trouble with backgrounds in my paintings but since using collage, backgrounds have been easy. Collage is such a good gap filler.
This is a triptych about three things that men desire Chocolate, Blood and Oil.
